About Us

Located just off the beaten path, this little RV Park has plenty of green space and shady trees for your enjoyment. If you’re looking to get away from typical RV parks then we’ve got what you need! We are surrounded by beautiful areas that provide great fishing.

If you are looking for a place to stay after a long day of adventure or exploration, then this is the perfect spot for you. With plenty of open area and limited RV spaces, it’s never too crowded or noisy like other campgrounds can be. Even at peak times! We are five minutes from I35 on FM 1069, and located centrally between Rockport, Mustang Island, and Corpus Christi, which allows guests easy access to many destinations around the Coastal Bend. Of course, you don’t have to stray far from your site because there is great fishing, boating and family activities nearby too!

With 18 miles of beautiful shoreline to explore, you’re sure to find the perfect spot to relax and take in the incredible views. Mustang Island

At Mustang Island State Park, what you do is up to you. You can play at the beach (swim, surf, build a sand castle), camp, picnic, fish, kayak, bird watch (especially during spring and fall migrations) and geocache.

Padre Island Sea Shore

This is the place to bring your high clearance 4×4 so you can travel into the most remote and beautiful areas of Padre Island.​

Turnbull Birding Center

Stop at the Leonabelle TurnBull Birding Center to experience birding from the new boardwalk. The walk will be short and is wheelchair accessible. Though it is short it offers great vistas for watching all of the wonderful birds here.​

Texas State Aquarium

Underwater exhibits offer a spectacular structure and an emotional trip across the immensity of the oceans. Pathways wind in and around jungle habitats teeming with life, including vibrant coral formations, cenotes, and beautiful fauna and flora.

Coastal Bend Fishing

The primary fishing area near Aransas Pass is Redfish bay. The 14,000 acres of seagrass flats in the area are rich with marine habitat, making it a prime spot for redfish and trout. There are also many protected areas that can be fished on windy days. Aransas Pass is also a jumping off point for offshore boats heading to the Gulf of Mexico.

  • Your chosen ceramic piece
  • Colors of your choice

  • Kiln firing of your item

Not there for next-day pick-up? They will send it to your home. Prices range from $1 to $200 for their largest pieces

Sarcastic Susies

Sarcastic Susie’s is a covered outdoor venue. Want good burgers, BBQ Frito Pies, Hot Dogs and more? Then this is your place! “Come by and try our Crappy Burgers and More! We have horrible service and an 8-Track playing for you.”

Billy Ellis Catering and Bakery

Don’t let the name fool you. This is a restaurant and bakery. The food is always great and the staff is friendly. They keep the menu limited to ensure fresh, quality ingredients everyday. Even with the limited menu and daily specials, everyone can find something great to eat here.

Black Beards & Blackbeards Too

Want to eat great food and visit someplace with an eclectic pirate vibe? Then Blackbeards and Too are the places to go.
Come in and listen to live music (on most nights) as well as enjoy a specialty drink like the Big Red Margarita.

Reserve your Spot ahead of time

When you stay with us you have the option of booking the exact spot you want. This about it like room reservations but in the outdoors.

The Boathouse RV Policies

Check In / Check Out

Check In is at 3 PM CST and entitles you to your site until 12 PM the day after check in.

Early check in is not permitted when the site is booked by another guest. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up.

Check Out time is 12 PM. You do not need to contact the office for check out.

To keep the Boathouse RV Park a welcoming place for yourself and others, we expect guests to ensure that they leave their sites clean and all trash is in placed in available trash cans when the check out.  We reserve the right to charge a $25 cleanup fee is you don’t clean up after yourselves.

 Report any problems to your site immediately.

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 2 days or less before arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the reservation stay.

Cancellations 3 or more days will be charged a cancellation fee of $15 to cover booking and processing fees.

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

This is a small park, so parking is limited. If you need parking for more than 2 vehicles or a boat in addition to your RV, please let the park staff know to see if any accommodations can be made. 

No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the lane. Do not park in sites that you did not register for.

Children

Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Open Fires

Propane grills and propane fire pits are allowed.

Open fires are not allowed in our park, this includes charcoal grills, wood fire pits, deep fryers and tiki torches.

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 10:30 PM to 7 AM. Anyone repeatedly disturbing their neighbors will be asked to leave without a refund.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome, but parking is very limited. There is some parking on Highland along the RV park fence.

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use lane to walk around the park.

Pet Policies

Pets are allowed in the park.

For those with pet(s)s:

Leash
We ask that you keep your pet(s) on a leash at all times while in the park. This helps you, your pet(s), and other guests and their pet(s) stay safe.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Failure to clean up after your pet(s) will result in you being asked to leave without a refund or charged a $25 cleanup fee.

Leaving pet(s) Unattended
Pet(s) may not be left unattended in our park for long periods of time. Leaving your pet(s) unattended is dangerous for them as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect their well-being while you are away.

Vaccinations
Due to insurance requirements, all pet(s) must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet(s) shots are up to date.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Trash Disposal 

Trash cans are located near various RV Sites.  They are shared across the sites. Trash pickup is on Mondays and Thursdays and the trash cans will be moved to the entrance for trash pickup. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container.

Please do not place your trash on the ground. A dumpster offsite is available upon request. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.

General Safety

Do not enter or play around the shed on the property.

Guests may not hang heavy items from the trees.

Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers.

Licensed and concealed carry firearms are allowed, but must be kept inside your locked RV or on you person(concealed carry).

Storage

Storage is not allowed under or around your RV.

General Park Policies

Tenants and Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.

The Boathouse RV Park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.

We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the policies and rules.

Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in being asked to leave without refund up to legal charges.

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call the office. (No soliciting is allowed.)

We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.
